Richard Lewis

ichard earned his Master’s in Business Administration from Pepperdine University, and a Bachelor of Arts in French Studies and a minor in Political Science from Lewis & Clark College in Portland, Oregon. He also recently completed a certificate program in Green and Sustainable Buildings at California State University, Long Beach.
Richard has been an active leader in the Long Beach community for more than 10 years, with more than 21 years of experience in business operations and financial consulting in both the nonprofit and for profit sectors. A successful entrepreneur and resident of Long Beach’s East Village since 2005, Richard has been instrumental in the continuing transformation of the area.
President of the East Village Association, a Board Member for The Center Long Beach, and Trustee of Long Beach Memorial Medical Center, Richard is committed to ensuring equality and dignity for all Long Beach residents.
